Who sees this: other signed-in climbers see your name, photo and start date. Your goal and professor link are private to you, your professor and the site's owners and super admins.
You frame it yourself (drag and zoom), then it is shrunk to a small square and stored with your profile. Other climbers can see it. It also sits in the top bar: tap it any time to come back here.
Lets your professor send a plan straight to your Ascent page, where you apply it with one tap: no copying and pasting. It can also read your course and progress directly. Nothing changes until you tap Apply, and it can only ever reach your climb.
A private, read-only link to your progress, tests and course, for a professor without the Claude connector. Once you've made one, Talk to my professor adds it to the opening message. It can't change anything, and you can cancel it at any time.
The privacy page lists everything the Ascent keeps about you, who can see it and for how long.
